Choosing a server for X site is very important, as migrating any site is a very troublesome task. The server needs to be purchased based on the country/region your X site is targeting.

Notes#
All domestic server providers are directly excluded, this point should be skipped! Never test the law with your own body!
Server providers that cannot accept virtual currency payments should be skipped; do not leave any personal payment methods when doing X site!
Server providers that must use mobile verification to receive verification codes can basically be skipped, unless they offer a strong cost-performance ratio and can use foreign phone numbers for verification!
CN2 Network Servers#
For webmasters targeting traffic from China, when choosing a server, try to choose a server provider with CN2 network. What CN2 is, please search for relevant information yourself. Servers with CN2 are relatively friendly in terms of speed for domestic users.
US Servers#
For webmasters targeting overseas Chinese, if only doing Chinese resources and not collecting Japanese AV and American AV, some US servers can be chosen. There is no need to consider the CN2 network issue, and there are many options available.
Anti-Complaint Servers#
For webmasters targeting global traffic, with various resources on the site (excluding child pornography!), anti-complaint servers can be considered. If you feel the speed is relatively slow, you can place the main site on an anti-complaint server and then buy a fast US server for reverse proxy, or directly establish a CDN for your own acceleration.
Tips#
When purchasing a server, first check the "Acceptable Use Policy" at the bottom of the server provider's official website. Generally, server providers that allow the establishment of X sites will directly indicate this on that page. If it is not written, you can send an email or consult customer service through the official contact methods.
There is a misconception that everyone must remember! Some server providers state in their "Acceptable Use Policy" that "adult content is allowed." This tells you that you can do X site, but it may not necessarily be anti-complaint! As we all know, Japanese AV and some European and American AV have copyrights! If your X site receives copyright complaints, such server providers will also suspend your service for rectification. So the question arises, what AV has no copyright? Hehe, self-produced videos, flower exploration, domestic adult live broadcasts, and domestic incest content have no copyright, so using such servers is generally best for collecting domestic resources only. I also don't know if companies like Madu and other domestic film companies have copyrights; you can collect a small amount for testing. I have not received any related complaints from domestic film companies so far.
Currently, only servers that ignore copyright, are anti-complaint, and disregard DMCA can do X sites recklessly! However, most of these servers are located in Europe or Africa, such as Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Amsterdam, Romania, etc. Some US server providers also ignore certain complaints (for example, ignoring Japanese complaints while suspending for American complaints).
Server System#
Currently, if there are no special requirements for X site servers, most are using Linux, among which CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian are the most common versions. You can choose different versions based on your needs, with CentOS 7 being the most widely used, and it can generally be used by most X sites.
